i cant think of anything else that it could be - unless it is trying to access some other directory i.e. I take it you have downloaded whatever the latest patch for version 9 is and installed it right? If not, try that.įailing that. I know its a different version by try it this way and see if that helps. Pinnacle 10 is not an option due to the spec of PC's. The pinnacle knowledgebase hasn't helped at all so any ideas would be helpful ! Checked paths of pinnacle registry entries. Logged on as Administrator and tried to Run as with Pinnacle account. Created a 'Pinnacle' account and made it part of the administrators group. Gave a test profile full rights to c: drive Any other profile it will display the splash screen and then generate a 'error has occured.' window. The problem lies that the application will not launch with any profile other than administrator. Go through normal process of copying profile to default user, permit everyone etc. Install as normal under Administrator profile. Looking to incorporate Pinnacle 9 into our computing base image. Wonder if anyone has had a similar problem or has any suggestions:.
